Needs
Tarusa Hospital's current needs can be categorized in three ways:
1. Financing to maintain the Hospital's current operations and standards (about $2000/month), including catheters, dipsticks, electrodes, miscellaneous medical materials and medicines.
2. Funding for the purchase of standard medical equipment, including analyzer of arterial blood gases, tilting beds, bedside monitors (total requirements ranging from $10,000 - $15,000),
3. Funding for capital expenditures, including the re-building of the surgical department ($150,000), the acquisition of living quarters to house a new therapist and radiologist (total requirements ranging from $50,000 - $60,000), and the purchase of a computer tomography unit (up to $1,000,000
Our mission is to develop Tarusa Hospital into a modern, fully-equipped and properly staffed medical facility equivalent to international standards. This mission can only be accomplished with the assistance of outside donors.
